Product Renderings

There are two main types of product renderings: the first showcases the product on a plain white background. The second type of product rendering is contextual, meaning the product is shown in a native environment, similar to a photo shoot or promotional image.

The creation of product renderings are a labor of love and we take pride in the quality of our work. They are produced at high-resolution, so they are ready for print in marketing materials or can be sized down for web use on social media or e-commerce platforms.

01 | Discovery

We’ll start the rendering process off by getting to know your business, what you’re wanting to accomplish with new product images and which file formats are needed.

If this is a showcase rendering, we’ll ask for a physical sample of the product and a vector file of the packaging artwork with the specs and dieline included along with the brand style guide, so we have the parameters to create the image to scale. If this is a contextual rendering, we’ll ask for a creative briefing on the vision as well as the products and elements to be included in the image. We will also need access to high-resolution product photography files and the brand style guide.

02 | Design Concepts

For a showcase rendering, we’ll create an image concept for each product view requested (front, back, etc.). For a contextual rendering, we’ll create one image concept. We’ll have a video call to walk you through the concept(s) and discuss them together.

03 | Revisions + Final Files

We’ll make the final revisions and when the creative is approved, the final print or web-ready files are created. We provide the final files to you and are here to provide support through either the printing process by reviewing proofs, or the launch process by testing, answering questions, etc.
